SBIF Asha Scholarship Program for Undergraduate Courses 2023
As part of its Integrated Learning Mission (ILM) education vertical, the SBI Foundation launched the SBIF Asha Scholarship Programme in India 2023, which intends to support deserving students from families with low incomes across India with financial aid so they can continue their studies. A scholarship award of up to INR 5 lakh for one year may be awarded under this scholarship program to college students enrolled in their first year of undergraduate study at top NIRF colleges and universities and IITs, MBA/PGDM programs at IIMs, and Ph.D. programs at prestigious institutions. State Bank of India's CSR division is known as SBI Foundation. The Foundation currently works in over 28 States and Union Territories of India on rural development, healthcare, education, livelihood & entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, promotion of sports, and more to contribute to the socio-economic development and the improvement of the underprivileged sections of the society.
There is only this one award accessible to Ph.D., MBA, and Post Graduate students. Scholars will be chosen for the 'SBIF Asha Scholarship Programme 2023' based on their academic standing and financial situation.
Outlined below is the several-stage process it involves :

Initial selection of applicants based on academic standing and financial situation

Telephonic interviews with candidates who made the shortlist, followed by verification of documents for the choice. The candidates' annual household income from all sources cannot exceed INR 3 Lakh.

Applicants must be students from all regions of India.
Eligibility criteria are as follows:

Ph.D. Students

Candidates must be enrolled in a first-year Ph.D. study (in any track) at a reputable institution during the academic year 2022–2023.

Candidates must have received an overall postgraduate grade point average of 75% or higher.

undergraduate Students
-
Students from the best NIRF institutions and colleges enrolled in their first year of undergraduate study during the academic year 2022–2023 are eligible.

Candidates must have received at least 75% in their Class 12 exams.

IM students
-
Candidates must be first-year MBA/PGDM students at a leading IIM in the academic year 2022–2023.

Candidates must have earned a minimum of 75% on their final exam (the sum of all semester/year results).

IIT students
-
First-year undergraduate students from prestigious IITs are eligible if they will get enrollment in those programs in the academic year 2022–2023.

Candidates must have received at least 75% in their Class 12 exams.

Essential Documents

A copy of your most recent grade report (for a class of twelve, a graduate degree, or a postgraduate degree, as applicable).

A copy of a government-issued identity document (such as an Aadhaar card)

Admission proof for the current academic year (fee receipt, admission letter, institution identity card, genuine certificate).

The applicant's (or their parent's) bank account details.

Proof of income (Pay Stubs, Form 16A, income verification from a government agency, etc.).
