The board of education to which candidate's 12th standard/HSC passing institution is accredited should be one of the following:
- West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education
- Candidate should have passed 12th standard securing a minimum of 85%.

Candidate should be currently enrolled in an accepted or accredited institute in India.

Candidate should be enrolled in one of the following levels of education:
- Undergraduate
