- Candidate should be at least 17 years old.
- Candidate should have graduated 12th standard in or after the year 2021.
- Candidate should have graduated 12th standard in or before the year 2022.

Candidate's secondary field of study in the current program should be one of the following:
- Nursing

Candidate or either of his/her parents should be affected by Hansen's disease, commonly termed as Leprosy.

Candidate should be residing in self-settled leprosy colony.

Candidate should not have been awarded any scholarship for the current year.

Candidate's primary field of study should be one of the following:
- Healthcare Technology & Services
- Sciences

Candidate should be enrolled in one of the following levels of education:
- Diploma (Undergraduate / Junior)
- Undergraduate

Candidate's institution should be accredited with one of the following boards:
- Indian Nursing Council (INC)

Candidate should currently be enrolled in one of the following class, grade, semester, standard, term, or year:
- 1st (First, Ⅰ) Semester
- 2nd (Second, Ⅱ) Semester
- 1st (First, Ⅰ) Year
