- Candidate should be younger than 18 years old.

Candidate's primary state of residence should be one of the following:
- Uttar Pradesh
- Candidate's annual family income should be no more than 250000.

Candidate should be currently enrolled in an accepted or accredited institute in India.

Candidate should belong to minority community.

Candidate should not have been awarded any scholarship for the current year.

Candidate should be enrolled in one of the following levels of education:
- Pre-Matric (Senior Secondary Certificate (SSC))

Candidate's educational institution should be in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Candidate should currently be enrolled in one of the following class, grade, semester, standard, term, or year:
- 9th (Ninth, Ⅸ) Standard
- 10th (Tenth, Ⅹ) Standard
