Candidate should not have an Allowed to Keep Terms (ATKT) in a semester, class or degree.

Candidate should be attending an institution accredited by one of the following councils/boards:
- National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE)

Candidate should not have been admitted through management quota.

Candidate's primary field of study should be one of the following:
- Education

Candidate should be enrolled in one of the following levels of education:
- Diploma (Undergraduate / Junior)
- Undergraduate

The length of the candidate's currently enrolled course should be 24 months.
