- Scheduled Tribes (ST)
- Candidate's annual family income should be no more than 250000.

Candidate should not have been awarded any scholarship for the current year.

Candidate should be enrolled in one of the following levels of education:
- Post-Matric (Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC))
- Associate
- Certificate (Undergradudate / Junior)
- Diploma (Undergraduate / Junior)
- Undergraduate
- Certificate (Postgradudate / Senior)

Candidate's educational institution should not be in one of the following states:
- Uttar Pradesh
